Inspired by an Anthropologie top, here’s the description of this new pattern, in Trudy’s own words:
Layering is one of the secrets to a truly fashion forward look, so let your T do all the work for you in this layered beauty, perfect for all those tissue and lightweight knits, especially bamboo, modal, silk and rayon knits with a little stretch and a lot of drape. This one *will* also work in heavier knits like French terry, interlock and lightweight ponte or sweatshirting, but please proceed cautiously to avoid a bulky silhouette!
Relaxed-fit dolman sleeved pull-on knit top has an inserted wrap-over cowl neckline, and an inverted center back pleat. Top features a contrast V-neck faux-tank insert at the neck, plus contrast double-layer lower sleeves and a double layered hemline with a gentle frill.
This super-cool T is going to take your casual outfits to the next level…make this in different textures of your favorite solid color and teamwith matching or contrast yoga or track pants for a modern post-workout or lounging outfit, or try it in contrast colors and/or prints to wear with your favorite classic, skinny, bootcut or boyfriend jeans for a super-cool off-duty look.

What I love about Hot Patterns a great on trend pattern that can be dressed up or down for any occasion. Love the size too! Would be making this up in a bunch of ways for year round wear and layering!

I LOVE TO SEW! I’m a big girl and it is difficult to fine clothing that fits, as a result my wardrobe suffers. I’m known as the plain Jane of the price sisters (there’s four of us). However with sewing, my confidence with clothes have boosted tremendously. I have created vibrant dresses and shirts that makes me looks amazing. My current issue is variation. I make a lot of the same clothes and I would love to win this giveaway to help change up my wardrobe. I hope that I win.

Love this! I am an Optician and I love to show my creativity and fashion-forward thinking by wearing my own handmade garments. It really helps my patients understand that when I create either a beautiful pair of eyeglasses (I also design frames), sew a fabulous dress, or knit a custom sweater, I put my all into everything I create.
I love the layered look but not all the layers (too hot for me) – this is the perfect answer!

I love the look of layers without all the thickness. Here in Middle Tennessee, the humidity is never ending so this would be a great addition to my tunic and pants uniform.

I love HotPatterns! I have several of their paper patterns just waiting for me to get to them. They have very explicit instructions – well constructed. I haven’t tried any of their PDF’s 🙂
