I’ve been following these posts with interest, and am beginning to think about planning a capsule wardrobe!
I definitely need to start sewing for me – as soon as I get up the nerve! You girls are certainly working very hard to convince me!!! Sewing machine and serger serviced, going to the fabric store is next when I decide on the pattern to be used.
I certainly been thinking about a capsule wardrobe, as I’ve been inspired by other bloggers. I love CommuningWithFabrics teal wardrobe, for example. So far, I’ve started on a navy selection.
I have not really thought about a capsule wardrobe before.but after trying to find clothes that go together and i feel comfortable in i have decided that it is what i want to do.the patterns look really interesting.

I do a lot of travelling and inevitably end up packing far too much as nothing goes with the other! I’d love to have a mini capsule wardrobe for this purpose and this set of patterns would be the perfect start!
I’m collecting fabrics from old tablecloths and bed sheets that I could use to make my capsule wardrobe. I am planning to make one but I’ve got to get my sewing machine repaired. ?
I took advantage of the free patterns the site had last week and I plan to make the dirty laundry tee as soon as I repair my sewing machine

Probably won’t sew a capsule wardrobe as I have so much clothing that can create one just from items within my wardrobe. I will be adding basic pieces- mostly shells and tanks.

I’m with Katie on the capsule within a regular wardrobe. I just started sewing so I want the freedom to make anything, but I am limited on space (and traveling more) so a capsule wardrobe is definitely enticing.
I’m not sure about sewing a complete capsule wardrobe, since my clothing needs have changed with retirement. Still, a more coordinated mix-and-match wardrobe is a goal I am willing to sew !

I’m not sure! Reading about capsule wardrobes and following this month has made me think about what I want to make and how to make it go with what I have, I recently went on vacation and packed for 5 days using the capsule concept. It worked out great and I always looked put-together. So can I say I’m going to sew a capsule-within-a-regular- wardrobe?
I hope to sew a mini-capsule this summer to go with some knitting I’m doing. Tanks, skirts, and such.

I really need to sew a capsule wardrobe. I have several ideas in mind, and I am hoping to take the slow & steady route so I don’t discourage my progress along the way. My closet is filled with ill-fitting RTW clothing, so this would be a big boost in the right direction. There is nothing sadder than digging through your closet for the same 3 shirts or pants that fit you well. It just starts every day on the wrong foot. Thank you for doing the giveaway!

I’m planning a work/interview capsule, as I’m planning to dip my toes back into the corporate world and none of my older pieces fit at all, let alone properly.
This is a great capsule! I will be focusing on learning to sew swimwear throughout this summer but I am sure that a capsule like this would be a nice palate cleanser.

I am trying to develop a capsule to take on a wonderful 2 week cruise this fall. These patterns are all lovely.
I love sewing and wearing dresses, but I’ve been terrible at figuring out how to pair separates, especially skirts, so trying a capsule just makes sense! I do have a uniform in winter of jeans-Fancy Tiger Sailor Top-cardigan, but my cardigans are all RTW and don’t fit well, and I haven’t found a cardigan pattern I love yet.
This summer, I’ve got a job requiring me to wear khaki on my lower half, so I’m trying to do a capsule based on that, so I can easily change from work clothes to after-work clothes by just bringing a change of shirt along, and can wear the tops with other lower halves on weekends.
I’m attempting a capsule wardrobe with dresses! It’s a bit trickier, although only having to worry about leggins for bottoms does simplify some of the process 🙂

Not a capsule wardrobe as I work from home and mostly wear jeans. I am making more of M own clothes to get a better fit, quality and style.
I need to take my sewing machine in for a tune up but after that I will get started sewing for comfort. I also need my disabled self to get used to sewing with the pressure foot under my arm – that should make things fun 🙂

What a great giveaway! I’ve never really thought I would ever sew a capsule wardrobe but the more I think about it, the more I realize I kind of have a “work uniform” (mostly trousers, cardi and “respectable/interesting” top) , a “weekend uniform” (sporty for outdoor adventures or dressed up in skirt or dress otherwise). So….maybe? But I also think I haven’t found all the TNT patterns I want to use for a capsule wardrobe but I believe I’ve narrowed the shapes/types of clothes I want to wear. So that’s a start ?
i’ve loved this blog series on making a capsule wardrobe! I kind of treat my sewing as the opposite of a capsule wardrobe – I like to sew bright stand out pieces and then have my more basic pieces being the ones that I buy at stores.
I would love to add these pieces to my summer wardrobe.
I’ve actually not sewn for myself in years due to weight gain and not knowing enough about fitting. I’ve been afraid to spend the money on patterns for fear of yet more disappointment. Winning this might actually give me confidence to start sewing for myself again, including a mini capsule wardrobe.
I’m working on a capsule wardrobe by working with more solid colours and thinking about my colour palette. I’m also sewing slower so I make a great job and the garments I made last in my wardrobe.
I can hardly wait to start on my capsule wardrobe! This month came at the perfect time for me, as I start a new job as a chaplain at a VA hospital in October and I think a capsule wardrobe for work is the perfect thing! I’ll have plenty of time to plan and sew.

I’m still not sold on the capsule wardrobe concept, except perhaps for travel. I still get so drawn in by pretty fabrics and like too many different colours. However, I’ve been eyeing some of those patterns!
I’m definitely going to sew a mini capsule wardrobe, its so logical and practical. I’ve already adjusted some of my sewing plans to incorporate the concept.
Recently returned to uni after 30 years of working. I am finishing my first year of arts and crafts teacher studies, two more years to go, and a change from an office wardrobe to student/practicing teacher should be sooner rather than later 🙂
