The winners are as follows:
Bundle #1 – Amy ” After being away from my sewing machine for a number of years,I recently reintroduced myself to my friend….my sewing machine. The humming of my friend is a song that helps me escape the stresses of my work day. I love sewing outfits that I wear to the office. It gives me much pleasure recieving compliments and knowing I couldn’t have done it without my friend, my sewing machine.”Amy never replied to the emails that we sent her, so we chose another winner.- Bundle #1 – MaudieBrid “Dresses! But really into buttoned-up shirts lately!”
- Bundle #2 – Tracy ” Jersey tops are my favourite thing to sew!”

My favorite garment to sew for myself is skirts, though I am yearning to start making dresses. I also love stitching up formals for curvy teens so they have a fun dress made for their body that is modest and feels good.
I love sewing skirts and dresses.
I love sewing dresses, usually with very complex bodice pieces. Usually above my skill level, but hey, how else do you learn?
Dresses…I love to make dresses…then skirts.
Last year 3/4 sleeve knit tops were my favorite–this summer it was colorful patterned skirts. For winter I have a lot of tunics and/or shift dresses planned. I’ve recently fallen in love with boots and leggings under everything.
I love sewing pants. I get them to fit exactly the way I want.
Tops are my favorite to sew
I love making tops for myself
Recently I stepped out of my comfort zone & made slacks (they fit great!) But my favorite is underwear. 2 seams & I have panties that fit my body, & are super comfortable. I always feel like I’m getting away with something sneaky when I make them ?
I haven’t tried yet to make something for me again; maybe after learning so much from your wonderful ladies I can actually have something fit me the next time!
Skirts, skirts, and more skirts are my favorite to sew up. People always comment that I look pulled together when really I’m just going for comfort! LOL
I love sewing dresses.
I love to sew t-shirts for me! Such a basic, quick sew and yet i can make them to fit me so much better than anything i find in the stores.
I love sewing dresses. Especially since I usually have trouble finding ones in stores which fit me properly.
Skirts are my favorite garment to sew.
Skirts are my obsession
My favorite item to sew is jeans!
I like making skirts the best. They are much more forgiving!
I sew for my grandsons and home decor. I need to get back to sewing for me but still haven’t tried a FBA. And I will need one!
Dresses! I feel like I’ve accomplished so much when I finish one!
Currently my favorite is tops. Since using CSC tutorials for FBA’s I’ve been much happier with the fit. Thanks!
Toss-up: Wrap Dresses and Slacks.. Countless choices with both; once TNT’d, patterns are at hand to create the next version. With holiday invitations trickling in, I’m feeling long gowns, slinky pantsuits, a LBD. Maybe two. Create a special garment, then let the magic happen!
Once I get a good fitting pattern, I like to sew pants. I love how quick and easy they go together for same day wearability. I also love popping one leg inside the other to go zoom around the crotch.
I really love the wrap over dress/top pattern 8137, so that pack would be amazing as summer is coming soon here in Australia.
Thank you, Linda.
I Love to sew a great dress. One item of clothing and I am dressed, head to toe. There is no mixing and matching. I am just dressed and looking good
Dresses, dresses, dresses!
Would love either pack
Skirts and shift dresses are my favourite and shirts are my least favourite. I really appreciate that you guys made it an international giveaway.
My favorite garment to sew is shift dresses, so of course I would love to win the second collection of dresses and very cool top!
Ohh lovely patterns!
I really enjoy making cardigans/kimonos. I often dress in layers and I find myself reaching for these pieces in my closet the most! Dresses come in at a close second, though 🙂
Thanks for having a giveaway!
I love skirts. My most recent “me made” is a 8 panel skirt with a zip on the side. I finished all the seams on the inside. Love it!
My favorite thing to sew must be costumes. I’ve seem to always end up making more costumes than anything else. I’ve made the turtles adult and a couple of Santa’s, and last week Sophie from “Howl’s Moving Castle”. I want to sew more blouse and clothes for me but the costumes always seem to push “me” clothes to the end of the line LOL. I’d love having these patterns! Thank you.
By counting the number of me-made items in my closet, I’ve concluded that dresses are most certainly my favorite garment to sew.
Omg this is so nice of you guys! I can’t wait to see if I win (probably won’t).
I most enjoy sewing shirts. I love the challenge of making a bodice fit my curves. Shirts are also the hardest thing for me to find in ready to wear that fit properly, so being able to make my own is a plus.
Currently, my favorite is the wardrobe builder tee by Wardrobe by Me. I put the first one on and didn’t want to take it off. Options everywhere and a great fit. Love your site, by the way.
I love sewing all garments but I guess the most “fun” are jackets and coats. I am a petite but have just begun sewing for my daughter in law who is curvy with a bust of 53. I am slightly challenged in going the opposite direction than petite but find adjusting rules usually apply the same. I would love to win a pattern pack to help me sew and build her Wardrobe
My favorite garment to sew is a skirt because they are so quick and easy!
Fifties and early sixties dresses are my bread and butter. For me they’re the perfect mix of figure flattering, practical (throw on a dress and you’re done), and just costumey enough to appeal to my love of dressing up!
I’m loving rediscovering sewing and mainly focused on sleeveless and pinafore dresses at the moment.
I’m loving sleeveless and pinafore dresses at the moment and even apron style dresses.
Usually skirts or dresses, but after the henley I just made, I might change my tune.
I enjoy sewing dresses the most! The thrill of a hunting for a new pattern and finding special material, and finally seeing it all come together is just the greatest feeling.
It has been pants but I am in the process of converting my main focus to dresses.
I find all I tend to sew is dresses! Though in the last few years I’ve been wearing less dresses and more separates. I find sewing dresses to be really relaxing as I generally know how everything fits together 🙂
I’d like to be entered for pack 1, thank you!
And a bigger thank you for opening this internationally – it’s really frustrating to be a loyal reader to a blog who has lots of giveaways but only to the US.
I love sewing separates as they’re easier to fit my shape.
Dresses have to be my favourites at the moment. A dress is something that never fits at both waist and bust in RTW, and yet can be made to fit with relatively simple adjustments to a pattern. None of the (for me) headaches of trouser fitting, even though I really wear trousers more of the time!
Anything for my granddaughters!
My favourite item to sew is project runway simplicity pattern 2444 I’ve got several copies of it as I used and used it I have many different styles of it and different hacks. it’s so versitile
Skirts are my absolute favourite item to sew. There are do many different ones and just a change of fabric gives a totally different look. I really should start on some tops to go with my skirts……
At the moment it’s shorts for my tween boy, and knit tops for me.
I like to sew skirts and tops, specifically woven tshirt style tops which can either be dressed up for work, or worn with jeans for weekends. And pencil skirts – shop bought pencil skirts never flatter my figure, but self-made ones work!
My next project is pants. I have successfully sewn jalie jeans, but I’m keen to sew some pants for work, and some Morgan and Ginger jeans!
I would love to win the holiday patterns – love that top!
