Now, onto our featured Bodysuit and Swimwear patterns!
Cashmerette Ipswitch Swimsuit
Jenny’s newest pattern, the Ipswitch Swimsuit has made quite a splash since its release. With a built in bra and the option of both a bikini and a one piece this is a very curvy friendly pattern!
Jalie Diane Swimsuit
Jalie just released a whole new collection of patterns, and the Diane Swimsuit is a great combination of function, sporty, and the optional bow. I kind of love bows, but I also love how Diane highlights the wearer’s lower back.
Patterns for Pirates Take the Plunge Swimsuit
The Take The Plunge Swimsuit is very popular in our Facebook group and it is easy to see why. The pattern has so many great options including different straps, a skirt, ruching, and so much more. If you love the front plunge of this swimsuit, you can customize just about every other aspect!
Simplicity 8344 Bodysuit
Simplicity 8344 is a really fun bodysuit pattern and I just love the off the shoulder ruffled style or the more bra friendly lace up back. This is one of the patterns Ashley Nell Tipton produced with Simplicity and it is so great to see more youthful styles from one of the Big 4 pattern companies.
The Prize
For Bodysuits and Swimwear the prize is $50 gift card to The Smuggler’s Daughter!
The prize will be given to a participant who sews a Bodysuit or Swimsuit pattern and shares it on Instagram or in our CSC Community Group on Facebook with the hashtag #CurvyYearofSewing before 9/1/18. The winner will be randomly chosen.

How funny! I promised my 17 yr old not curvy daughter a 1920s swim suit from patterns of time. I better get started. Curvy sewist counts right.
