The Curvy Sewing Collective participated on our first blog tour with the new Colette Patterns’ knit dress — Moneta — and the knit skirt — Mabel. I opted to make two Monetas (yes, someday I will make a Mabel!) and they quickly became staples in my me-made wardrobe.
My first Moneta is made of an aubergine viscose/lycra ponte knit from Britex Fabrics. It is lined in the bodice with a black rayon jersey knit from Fabric.com. This is version 1 in size 2x.
My second Moneta is made of a pink and white polka dot bamboo/spandex jersey knit from Harts Fabrics. This is version 2 in a size 2x.
I never thought I would love a knit dress so much until this pattern! I have more knit fabrics in my stash anxiously waiting to be made into more Monetas. Definitely a staple dress that will be in high wardrobe rotation.
