I’m in love! The Colette Moneta is probably the only sewing pattern I’ve ever made straight from the packet – no grading, nothing! It’s like a fresh drink of water, it really is. In fact, I like it so much I have already made it many, many times… My favourite hack? Going maxi. Just cut at the lengthen/shorten line, and add in the length that you need. I continued the hip angle, significantly extending the hem curve giving it a gorgeous amount of swish.

Wow, these are gorgeous. I am completely new to dressmaking (am more of a quilter) and haven’t got a clue how to make anything. But I just ordered the Moneta pattern yesterday. Have you only used knits with it or have you also tried it with cottons, voile maybe?
