2 weeks later, and we’re done! Phew! I hope the sewalong was helpful and that you now have (or will soon have) a wrap dress of your very own.
Here’s my final dress – for more photos, head over to my blog, Cashmerette.
And now for the sewalong contest! The Smuggler’s Daughter have very generous donated 3 $50 vouchers for fabric, to go to the three winners of our Wrapalong contest. To enter, upload a link to your make at the InLinkz below – this can be a link to a blog, Flickr, or anywhere else that you have a photo hosted online. Entries open today, October 10, and run until October 25 to give you plenty of time to get ready. Then, we’ll open up to voting until October 30. Good luck, and I can’t wait to see your dresses!

Thank you so much for the sewalong. It was like traveling to a foreign country: walking foot, twin needles, knit stay tape. Complete with foreign language and misadventures! I went off-road a couple of times – and certainly used language inappropriately. But I had such fun I’m already planning my next trip. And I can’t wait to wear my dress somewhere beyond my living room!
I hope I posted my picture in time! I have to say I don’t have much energy right now what with being in the begining of my pregnancy and I had troubles finishing the dress. But here it is at last, and Îm happy about it!
Finally got my wrapalong dress posted! This sewalong has been so much fun, thank you Jenny for making me expand my boundries in sewing. It has been a real pleasure!
It looks fantastic, well done!
Thanks Jenny! Now I am ready to see what the next sewalong will be! 😉
I finally got to take my pics today. I finished my dress last week and the weather finally let up. I really enjoyed participating in the wrap-along. This was a first for me and I love it. Thanks ladies! This is truly a TNT pattern for my and one I know I will be using a lot! I know I chose the right dress too because Nita looks gorgeous in hers!! You can see my dress here isewiknit.blogspot.com!
I cut it last night and I’m on the last step today. I’ll be ready!
Work is getting in the way! A bit of a shaky start ladies xx

Alright! I have just done the muslin of my woven wrap dress, and am going to make the Muse – Gillian wrap dress for a knit version.
Yay! Finished too. Mine is a fake wrap. Not too pleased that my husband wandered past and said it made me look bigger 🙁
I didn’t think it was too bad myself. I ended up sewing the Petite plus wrap pattern (including all the darts which turned out to be not too much of a pain) with one of the front panels altered to be like the simplicity pattern suggested earlier on the blog. It is definitely very comfortable. Might try the proper wrap version and maybe a smaller size next time.

I think it looks great Andrea! Husbands can’t always be trusted on fashion decisions 🙂 but why not try the side smaller and another tip is it can sometimes be more flattering to use a larger scale print than a smaller scale one.
Oh that delicious colour! Love it!
I think that looks great! I love the fabric – the color looks great on you!
Thanks Tracy 🙂
I’m really looking forward to some more people finishing and putting photos up -Really keen to see more!
I responded from the tablet last night, and I guess only half of post went through . . . I really live yours. Beautiful fabric!
I super love your dress Annessa! Great stuff!
How cute! I finished mine as well. I will make sure to take my pics tomorrow so everyone can see. This was really fun!! I already have my eye on the next knit dress, lol!
Yay! My sneak peak is over here: http://www.nitadances.com/index.php/2014/10/10/a-yardstick-and-a-sneak-peak/
Great! Make sure you add your link to the InLinkz for the chance to win the prize!
You bet I will! I just have to sew the hem now that it’s pinned and then I’ll have pictures taken and do a proper blog post on the dress. I don’t have that sticky hem stuff so I will sew it with just my walking foot. But I’m shaking in my boots and have to get my nerve Waaaaay up! I don’t want a curly-lettuce-leaf hem! I want it to be flat!
Looks great!!! Where did your fabric come from?
Thanks! I got it at Fabricland.
Jenny, Thank you so much for leading this wrapalong. Now, I just need to get caught up and get my dress done.
Yay! I guess I had better start working on mine this weekend! I’ve been meaning to make a wrap dress since I started sewing… almost 2 years ago!
Your dress is really nice and you look great in it! Well done you! Hope mine fits me that well…
Your dress is beautiful. Mine– I am still drawing off the pattern and enlarging it. You have given great tips on construction. I am anxious to try it.
