Today I want to share my new girl-crush with you!
I discovered Audrey G. of the blog “Big or Not to Big” thanks to a shared post by Marie Denee, The Curvy Fashionista, on Instagram. Audrey’s 27 years old and a fashion blogger from Orleans, France. She’s been blogging since 2009, and she puts together the most chic, dreamy ensembles… and then photographs them in medieval French settings – what’s not to love? I adore her styling, her hair, and her great silhouettes and eye for fabrics. I will leave you with some amazing eye candy, and encourage you to head over and check out her blog – it’s in French (although if you have the Google Translate plug in you can get a rough translation), but if you aren’t a Francophone the photos are worth going for alone!
A wonderful fit and flare dress with lace – I spy the Colette Macaron bodice (though you’d have to grade up, ugh – follow Lazy Stitching’s great tutorial) and a circle skirt.
A perfect outfit for this odd fall/winter weather we’ve been having in the NorthEast recently. Perhaps some maroon Ginger Jeans might be just the ticket? Check out Suzy Bee’s great version here. Pair it with a (very easy to grade up) Plantain and you’re golden!
Living in warmer climes? I love this pastel set. A circle skirt is easy to make, and you could pair it with a Jenna cardigan.
I have a soft spot for quirky outerwear, and a polka dot trench coat would be right up my street. Has anyone made a good plus size trench coat pattern?
Who else are you inspired by? Would you like to write about them for the Curvy Sewing Collective? Just email us at mail@curvysewingcollective.com and let us know!

That lace dress is beyond gorgeous!
I’ve made mccalls 5525 trench coat a couple of times (http://suzybeesews.blogspot.com.au/2012/04/mccalls-5525-violet-trench.html?m=1)
It’s a great pattern and I love the idea of a polkadot version!

Wow! She looks great. In fact, you don’t really notice what size she is because the clothes she wears are intriguing. I especially love the dress in the middle picture at the beginning of the post.
