I started sewing in 2013 and jumped in face first. My first projects were a dress and petticoat for my own birthday. I promptly fell in love with the magic of turning fabric into a wearable piece and my closet is quickly filling with me-made clothes. Being unafraid to try new techniques has quickly and drastically improved my construction. I can hardly say that I'm self-taught because I learned by reading blogs and tutorials.
