By day I'm a college professor, and most of my time is consumed with lectures, students, papers, my own research, the writing I do, and running and working with some women's organizations. The sewing--and knitting--serves as a stress release per se. Of course, sometimes that goes seamingly well . . . other times, well, let's just say adventures and misadventures along the way end up in various forms of print.
