Another epic month! There are quite a few new patterns out, lots to get excited about, so settle in!
Spring has sprung and we have ALL the dresses.
This is right on trend – a simple, fitted knit dress with a tie option.
Deer & Doe Pensee (also available as a top!) Deer & Doe is sized 34-52 with sizes 48 and up available as PDF only.
Confession – I have already purchased this one!! I have declared it the first pattern I’m going to make when I’m able to sew again!
Karla, @KarelHolmes posted an amazing version on IG! As did Elodie, @elodieblueberry!
Sew Over It Isla Sew Over It is sized 8-20.
Isn’t it a sweet little dress? I love all of the details, including the frills.
Itch to Stitch Melrose (also a top) Itch to Stitch has a very inclusive size range! 00-20 with A-DD cup sizing.
A very nice basic for summer. And while it is usually relatively straightforward to turn a dress pattern into a top, it’s nice when that view is included.
Itch to Stitch also released the Kalispell
The Kalispell has princess seams, inverted pleats that create a nice amount of fullness, and pockets.
Love Notions Lyric Love Notions offers sizes 0-24 AND A-D cup sizing.
Chris, @sewjourns posted this lovely floral version.
There were a couple of cute McCall’s dresses in their latest release!
This is right up my alley! I love the shaping and the easy-wear style.
7925:The raglan sleeves with beautifully soft gathers are my favorite! I love the shaping, the lower ruffles/flounces and the fabric they chose is perfect.
RAD Patterns Marsha wrap dress RAD is new to me! This pattern is available from XXS to 4x. The measurements at each size gives a range. The 4x fits a 60-65″ bust, 53-58″ waist and 63-68 inch hip.
I know wrap dresses are so common. But then I saw Martha’s @Garichild version and…ahhhh. It looks amazing on her.
Seamwork Bobby Seamwork is a frequent feature here. Their size range is very inclusive. This dress is drafted for sizes 0-26.
Simple but so perfect for summer. I like the wide elastic in the waistband and the v-neck. I am not super thrilled by how the front is riding up on the model but if you’re a Seamwork subscriber, this simple dress may totally be worth trying out.
Wiksten Shift (also a top) Just a heads up, this pattern is currently only available printed and is currently sold out until June. It is available from size 0 (32 bust, 36 hip) to size 22 (48 bust, 52 hip).
Again, a simple silhouette but in a linen? gahhh. Summertime perfection! GO check out Melizza’s @melizzamakes version! 🙂
WHEW! And then there’s some other stuff…Hahaha!
A few cute tops came out.
The Sewing Workshop Berwick St. Tunic This pattern goes up to a size XXL which has a finished bust of 52″ and hip of 59 7/8″.
I know I’m being drawn in by the color-blocking but I also think it is a very nice pattern! It has a mandarin collar (which I love) and soft gathers at center front on the lower panel.
Style Arc Hayward See the Style Arc size chart above.
Another tunic. This isn’t quite my style but it’s Style Arc so reliable drafting in a wide size range.
Experimental Space Josie Blouse The sizes have names (which isn’t my jam) but the smallest size, Ava fits measurements 31/24.5/31.5 and the largest size, Gia, 43/36.5/43.5. So not super extensive, but it’s a really cute blouse.
Muse Hipi top size chart Muse’s woven patterns include a D-cup option.
A cute and very versatile summer top. I love the stripe play on this version.
Other goodies:
Sew Chic Gatsby pants and skirt Sew Chic size chart ranges from a 2-18.
L.O.V.E. Those gathers are FANTASTIC! I really like the skirt on the pattern envelope and would love to see the pants made up.
Patterns 4 Pirates Sporty Piko hoodie and tee P4P is well known for its wide size range. This pattern is available in size XXS to 3x.
I like the options that are included! The dropped shoulder allows for a short sleeved option with full coverage, or added sleeves. You can swap the hood for a collar. You can leave it cropped or add a lower panel for a full-length option. Very versatile and looks comfortable.
Deer & Doe Sirocco jumpsuit (see D&D size chart above)
I may have purchased this one too 😉 It’s a knit jumpsuit with a mock-wrap bodice, pleated, slightly tapered pants and pockets. There are SO many fantastic versions online already and I am a huge fan of Elodie’s printed version!
Megan Neilsen Cottesloe Curve swimsuit (and more!) Available in sizes 14-30, as a PDF only. Sizes 0-20 is available as both a printed pattern and PDF.
Tank style suit with quite a few variations, making it super versatile.
Wardrobe by Me Tropical shirt a men’s pattern! Available in sizes XXS (27.5″ chest) to 3XL (45″ chest)
It is a nice shirt and has a wide size range. I do wish there were more companies making men’s patterns for something other than button-front shirts.
The April Burda Plus section has a really nice blazer, wide legged pant, dress and top.
1 Puddle Lane released an add-on bodice pattern to the Miss Ruby Tuesday dress. SO many options if you own this pattern already.
This roundup is a little delayed this month due to some technical issues. So there have been some new releases since this post was first written – they will be captured in the next roundup.
Have you added any of these to your stash already? Any must-haves?

Great round up! I’ve seen a lot of these popping up on facebook and instagram, but there are definitely a few new-to-me pattern companies in this month’s round up, which is awesome.

Great selection! I just bought M7920 based on this review. I have a large piece of smoke grey linen and will try the view with the straight skirt. Maybe make some covered buttons, but purchased gray/white buttons would look great too. I wear dresses almost all the time – love dresses. 🙂 Nice work, thanks for the reviews.

I was very excited about the Berwick St. Tunic but when I went to the pattern page, I realised I had missed that there was a strange frill on the front of it! What a shame!

Okay, I am not a “hacker” of patterns but I promise that is a really easy edit. If you don’t like the gathering, You’d just remove the excess from the center so that the lower piece matches 1:1 with the upper bodice.

Thanks for all your hard work, this is a great round up.

Thanks Sandra!

I love this list. I have both of those McCall’s that you picked already and bought the Kalispell dress, Lyric dress, and Sirroco jumpsuit during their initial sale week. I am loving all of the Siroccos that I’ve been seeing on IG–it seems to look good on everyone.
Sandra says
Ooooh Michelle. I’d love to know how you get on with the Kalispell. I liked the look of that a lot.

A new one to me this month is the Bonnie by little Ragamuffin patterns. Maybe one to check out for the next monthly review 🙂
