I always regretted not having a degree so I went back to school a few years ago. I’ll finish in March of 2017 when I’m 61! Everything I love has been on hold, including sewing! I’m going to participate in this shirtmaking challenge even though I won’t be able to put my heart into it! If I have to completely miss this, though, it will smother my soul!!!

Perfect timing. I’m keen to do my first shirt.

I am fairly new to sewing, and also brand new to your website (I just found it!), so I am super excited that I have come just in time for shirt-making month! I am super keen to learn some new skills.

Yeah! I received my Harrison shirt pattern recently and will save sewing it until November. I am SO happy I found this website! It’s made sewing so much more fun to find patterns that are so lovely and such a great group of women.

Excellent! I have two Harrison shirts currently in construction so I am looking forward to the ideas of creating different sleeves, etc – we are coming into summer so I have a mind to make this sleeveless and I wonder what it would look like with a cold shoulder adaptation?

Ooooh!!! Perfect timing!! I desperately want to start on my Harrison shirt but I really really need to finish up Halloween costumes first. This will give me the will power to wait. 🙂

I’m looking forward to this month – after a lifetime of shirts that fit on the chest but no place else or gappy chested shirts held together with safety pins inside. I’ve recently taken to sewing them closed-shut rendering the buttons as decorations and turning getting dressed into a lot of wiggly and muttering.

Perfect timing!! Can’t wait to get started.

Which pattern did you choose? I’m waiting for her Jan 2017 shirt.Mid tone chambray,; duster-tunic length. Shirt-jacks work better here then classic jean jackets in our foggy micro-climate.
Lusting after the Harrison too. Jenny’s well-designed, double princess seams fit-look great in the end-of-month pattern roundups. Works for wide shoulders, and easy to lengthen. If a friend’s experience is a given, Coni’s January shirt design can be modified to fit my Big&Tall friend as well..
Shirts are relaxing to construct. Fit the design, trace the, modifications onto heavy paper for future use,,cut fabric and S.E.W.! Soothing, and ending in a RTW make. Only better.

Great! I was just about to start the Harrison shirt muslin as soon as I’m finished with my son’s Superman costume.
