This December is Party Time!
What better way to celebrate than making a whole month about it? Lots of people will be making party outfits for the holidays in December, but you can interpret “party” however you want. It’s an open theme and the key to this theme is to have fun with it.
Want to have a PJ party all month? Make some fancy pyjamas.
Want to make a New Year’s Eve dress for dancing? Make a lovely twirly dress.
Want to make a suit for a dandy night out on the town? Get out your wool suiting and have a blast.
Heading out to a costume party? Make a costume for the event!
Bonus points if you celebrate with cake. 😉
There will be inspiration posts to get you started and party-themed reviews.
Want to join the party online? Tag your makes on Instagram with #CSCPartyTime and you will be included in the round up post at the beginning of January. Don’t have Instagram? Send us your pictures with a brief description and the pattern name to our inbox.
I can’t wait to see how the CSC community spends their Party Time.

Haha, I can’t believe my party dress was finished too early. That’s a first!

You could still share it for party time. 🙂 But go you! I wish I could say the same!

I love this idea! I’ll be making a Thanksgiving dress this week and two more dresses for December parties. I’m considering starting a blog and also posting my sewing to Instagram…I just need to work up the courage for pics! I hope I can use this tag to get me motivated. Thanks for posting this!
