As we begin planning content for the new year, the Curvy Sewing Collective editors have lots of ideas for 2016. We want to ensure that our content is in alignment with the interests of the sewing community, so let us know what areas of curvy sewing you’d really like to see us dive into next year!
The poll will remain open until Friday, December 18th.

I’d like to suggest an idea for the future… a focus on clothes for the usual body types…. like people who have an extra large belly, but smaller hips & legs (and therefore have a heck of a time with pants that fit right)… or people who have an extra large backside, but aren’t really big all over…. or extremely large bust with a tiny waist. Most of the photos of people I see on your site are larger, but they are gorgeously proportional and many still have a perfect hourglass shape. How do you get clothes to fit you nicely so that there are more than one option to wear a Moo-moo? How do you customize patterns for those body shapes that don’t fit in that pattern? I would love to see what other people come up with! I know what I’ve been trying, but I’m still not comfortable in my clothes… my main goal in life right now.

We’d love to feature a wider variety of body types, too! If you’d like to write a guest post talking about fitting one of these body types, we’d love to run it!

Great poll, Michelle! Very on point with current sewing trends! Looking forward to what ya’ll have in store for next year. I’m trying to motivate myself to offer to write a few reviews or something š
