As Mary mentioned recently, we’ve had an absolute blast setting up the CSC and shepherding it through the early phases. The response of the community has been amazing!
As a not-for-profit site run by people with other blogs (not to mention day jobs!) it’s been fantastic to see what we’ve become through the collective efforts of the editors and all our many volunteer contributors.
However, we always want to improve! We would like to hear from you about what you’d love to see from the CSC in the upcoming months – are there particular types of content? Garments? Contributors? Do you want to contribute something specific but aren’t sure where to start? I think one of the biggest strengths of the CSC is our diversity – whether that’s in sewing experience, size, body shape, age or lifestyle – but we are always actively seeking to involve an even broader range of people. Don’t see yourself represented in the CSC? Let us know, so we can try to be even more inclusive. And maybe you can contribute yourself!
If you have constructive feedback or want to get more involved, please let us know using the contact form below, and we will read all the submissions and take it into consideration as we make future plans. We welcome all and any feedback.

I get really excited every time I see a new CSC post on my blog feed.
With every post, I will think to myself one of four things:
1.”Oh my word, I have that EXACT same issue! I am so going to try this!”
2.”Ooooh stunning pattern, I wants!”
3.”Finally someone is telling that stupid pattern company that we are not interested in sewing and wearing a tent! You go girl!”
4.”What a gorgeous lady, and she is NOT a skinny model! Hooray! I am starting to feel more OK with my own body just the way it is.”
Thank you ladies!
